Private Walter Nicholson, Of the Lincolns, has returned to his home at Billingborough for a few days’ leave, after recovering from wound in his left hand, which he received in the recent “push” at Fricourt. Another Billingborough lad, Private A. Searson, also of the Lincolns, is reported to be in hospital suffering from shell shock. Private George Dunster (3rd Lincoln) has died of consumption while in training at Weelsby Camp, Grimsby. is remains were brought to Billingborough for interment. He was 25 years of ago.
